Our partner EPMA, in collaboration with Centrum dokumentárního filmu, recently piloted the MyHood platform with young filmmakers from Jihlava’s filmmaking club. 🎥

The pilot took place in the newly reconstructed Stříbrný dům, a historical building in the heart of Jihlava’s main square. Thanks to the visionary work of architect Marek Štěpán, this restored space now serves as a hub for creativity, offering an inspiring architectural and cultural experience, an ideal setting for young creators!

Hands-On Exploration

The participants had the opportunity to explore the tool, test its features, and share valuable feedback to help us refine and enhance MyHood. Their insights will be instrumental in making the platform even more engaging and user-friendly!

What Did We Learn?

The young filmmakers were excited to experiment with the digital mapping tool and provided positive feedback on its design and usability. They particularly enjoyed how the activity encouraged them to look at their surroundings with a fresh perspective, considering how urban spaces influence their daily lives and creative projects.

Looking Ahead

This pilot marks another important milestone in improving MyHood based on real user experiences. But that’s not all…We’ll be meeting the young filmmakers again soon, as they are preparing a special surprise for our project!
